Zeus Information Service keeps you informed and updated on your freedoms in the area of natural health. We let you know about important developments about people and organisations that are working to uphold your right to practise natural medicine or to benefit from healthy alternatives.

The purpose of Zeus Information Service is to UNITE people and organisations worldwide who believe in the value of natural health therapies and want to continue to use them.

The Story of Zeus Information Service

Zeus Information Service came into being on 17th February, 2003, five years ago, just after the biggest anti-war marches in history and at a time when people were seriously questioning the way this world is governed. It was my brainchild and the idea came after I started receiving important reports about how Codex Alimentarius would affect vitamins and food supplements and I wanted to share this and alert others.

I have often been asked the reason for choosing the name Zeus, King of the ancient Greek Gods! At the time I believed in order to go ahead with a news service that would be sending out powerful information, I needed a very strong name, almost as a protection! My daughter Arabella and I started thinking of names together and she suggested Zeus!

I felt there was a need for an email service to go out to Subscribers worldwide alerting them to the threats facing natural health therapies as well as vitamins and organic food supplements. I knew there were many others who shared my concerns. There are also deep misgivings that many people have about GM food, pollution of the environment, vaccines and dangerous prescription drugs.

Many in the natural health world are good and genuine people who are not fully aware of the political agenda which is behind all the unwanted regulations and loss of health freedom. The big corporations have a tremendous influence over politicians and the laws they pass. This is why I include a number of important political articles to try and educate others, so they could piece it together for themselves.

Zeus Information Service has never been about telling people what to think but only about sharing information and alerting them, so they can forward this to as many people as possible waking them up to the threats that we all face. It has always been about exposing the propaganda we are fed by the mainstream media and shining a light on the truth.

I started off sending out email articles and alerts. After awhile people complained there was too many emails coming into their inboxes! Then I decided to create a Zeus Weekly Ezine which listed all the latest articles by title, date and weblink. This metamorphisised into Zeus Information Service News along the same lines and became a full time job as my inbox became basically a clearing house of information, taking up at least 50 hours a week or more, with only one person running it, me!

The fortnightly Zeus Information Service News would sometimes contain as many as 100 of the latest articles and became extremely time-consuming. Every link had to be checked before it went out, stories being put in a logical order, text tidied up, etc. Articles were listed under headings: Health Freedom, Alternative Medicine, Homeopathy, Pharma, Environment, Food, Vaccines, People, Politics, Spiritual and Internet. People loved it. The skill of creating the newsletter lay in the ability to choose the best articles which made it hard to delegate the work.

The subscriber list grew and grew though I never really advertised. People came through word of mouth which is the best way.

On 17th February 2008, Zeus Information Service celebrated its Fifth Anniversary and nearly closed down but due to popular demand, I am now producing a simplified version called Zeus News. This will be less time-consuming and only contain the latest most important articles and alerts. So it has been a case of refining down to absolute need-to-know information. I believe people will be pleased with this because nowadays people do not have the time to read reams of articles, some of which, even if new, are repetitions of older ones.

Throughout the last five years, I have created excellent ties and links with all the health freedom organisations around the world as well as numerous authors and fearless activists. I am in touch with so many wonderful people who I admire tremendously.

Zeus Information Service has never been about making money in a commercial sense as its purpose is to unite the natural health world and put people in touch with each other. I delight in doing this and always try to forward information on to people I know are working in a particular field, whether it is free energy, GM food, homeopathy, etc., so that these alerts that can be forwarded on to colleagues.

My work has kept me abreast of all the latest and best products that are available for every ailment. I send this information out to my List and put some of them up on the website.

Initially I had hoped to charge a small yearly fee for this work but soon realised that people jealously guard their last bastion of freedom of speech and free information on the internet. I understand this but as the work grew and grew have at least explained to people that it is a lot of hard work and I urge them to try to make a yearly donation. Only a tiny percentage donate but I do receive an enormous amount of emails from wellwishers loaded with compliments for the service!

In July 2007 because of my interest in practising and promoting homeopathy and after the increasingly negative attacks in the press, I started Zeus Homoeopathy News which goes out to a list of homeopathic practitioners worldwide. As I write this, a new phenomena is taking place, in that ordinary members of the public and people from all walks of life are subscribing to it, which shows the growing interest in homeopathy.

I hope Zeus will continue for a long time to come but I expect my work to encompass other important and related projects towards making this world a better place.
